Privacy is not in a good place right now, especially after the introduction of the Online Safety Act in the United Kingdom, new bills spreading across the US and Brazil, and Chat Control's potential introduction to the European Union. With the odds stacked against us more than ever, it is absolutely imperative that we push back. If we fail to put up a fight, the internet, this century's most powerful medium, will be lost and permanently corrupted. Whether you are affected now or not, you will be in the end. The NCP stands against these powers, and we need your help to keep our freedom. For all of us. We cannot submit to defeatism.
Many believe they are powerless to reclaim their freedom let alone aid the greater movement. This could not be further from the truth. On top of the following, we need help with translations. Remember the 4 "S"es:
Above all else, DO NOT SUBMIT. Do not verify your ID, whether it's for Roblox, Discord, Twitter, or some porn site. If you run a website or public service, do not make your users verify their identity. Do not block access to users from jurisdictions that require verification, especially if you have no access in such states/countries. As of 2026-03-27, there have been no cases of a sysop being extradited over failing to comply with authoritarian laws such as the United Kingdom's Online Safety Act with only unenforceable fines getting thrown at 4chan. If enough services resist, the laws will become known as unenforceable and it will be too expensive to keep up the push for an even more intrusive internet. Additionally, if you pay for any of the many services intruding on your freedoms, cancel your subscriptions. This applies especially for nonessential things such as Discord Nitro/server boosting.
Whether you run a Discord server for your friends or community, a Facebook group regular, a YouTuber, the owner of a popular Twitter account, a gamer, or an absolute nobody, you can always help spread the message to fight for your privacy and digital freedom.
IF YOU HAVE AN AUDIENCE, encourage them to pursue freedom and privacy. For example, make videos on YouTube about the topic to help your viewers if you have a channel there, or bridge your Discord server to XMPP or IRC and slowly transition users over if you run a Discord server.
Even if you don't run a community, spread the word in communities you participate in, be it online or in person. You can also help by participating in things like Fight Chat Control if you live in the European Union or Keep Android Open, even if you do not use Android yourself.
Wherever possible/feasible, switch to platforms that respect your freedom and privacy. There are too many to list on this page, so if you need help, join our community and ask away. We have all been new to defending our freedoms at one point, and there is no question too dumb to ask. We will help you to the fullest extent we're able to and try to point you in the right direction if we can't help.
This is not an option for everyone, which we understand. If you're able to, consider self hosting your own services for you and your family. This is again too broad of a topic to include full information on here, so we ask that you join our chatroom so we can help you out.
